Mint is just across the road from bike and other notable grazing spots share the Petitenget route nearby, making it an easy stroll to head of to after late dinners in the area. Being set of the main crowded "eat street" of Jalan Kayu Aya also has its benefits, as Mint is one among a handful of venues out of the usual gridlock. to offer late night gigs that go on well in to the mornings. Parking is an issue here, so taxi rides are the way to go. Almost nothing happens early here; despite its "happy new friday" program that goes on between 16:30 - 19:00 local time, the real crowds only appear somewhere near midnight. Its DJ booth with a bar and stage like arrangement produces audible pleasures that progress throughout the evening with nice beats and electronic house as the evening tuns in to a new day. Loyal regulars tend to comprise of young adults but highlighted agendas usually draw a dynamic mix.
Step inside and you will find a large room dominated by bright fresh green, obviously the sole idea behind its
name. A chandelier and shiny emerald drapery hangs from the ceiling above the 25 m length of the centerpiece, back lit-glass bar top, and tall sexy green sofas line the corners of the room. Some small square tables are set up for dinners as Mint also offers quite an extensive menu for those who wish to dine here earlier before the crowds arrive. Its drinks list from its wine shop is also broad with a good selection of wines, classic and house cocktails and mocktails. For something different, try one of Mint's favorites, such as around Bali or the Apple Mint Martini with apple vodka, mint leaves, cointreau, fresh lime juice, and a dash of apple syrup. Or tryout the green samurai of pandan which combines vodka, Kwai Feh Lychee Liqueur, homemade pandan syrup and a splash of fresh lime juice.
