Holiday with Family in Waterbom Bali

'Waterbom' Bali is where you can enjoy a full wet day out with family and friends, through numerous 'waterslides', rides and playful games. This island's premier water park is just across the road from the Discovery Shopping Mall in south 'Kuta', and has grown to feature 17 exciting slides and water games for all ages since its inception in 1993. The park covers 3.8Ha of tropical gardens and pools, as well as a complete host of dining and leisure facilities.

'Waterbom' Bali comprises numerous choices of slides that will keep you and your family occupied for a whole day. These include easy-going pools with mini slides to large scale adrenaline-pumping rides that start from significant heights. Services and facilities are top of its class, making it a must-do highlight for families while in Bali.'Waterbom' Bali is easily located in a strategic position midway along Kartika Plaza street in Kuta, and just across the road from the Discovery Shopping Mall. The 'waterslide' and recreational park is also an additional convenience to guests staying at the notable hotel that shares the same name as the street. As Bali’s largest and pioneering 'waterpark', 'Waterbom' Bali provides plenty of thrills. ‘Climax’ is the latest addition to its collection of slides.

This ‘super-loop’ body slide has participants enter a small chamber 19 meters above the ground where a trap door opens after the countdown and feeds them to the looping pipeline at gravitational forces of up to 2.5 Gs. ‘Superbowl’ takes you on a breathtaking swoosh down the tube into an enclosed gigantic bowl, spinning to momentum before getting flushed down for an exit splash into the pool. This is a ride for two on a rubber raft, to share the screams as you reach speeds of up to 50kmh. ‘Boomerang’ is another thrill for two, as you wind down at high speeds, and face a 20m high-rising 60-degree ramp to experience a brief mid-air pause, and then drop down sliding into the pool. ‘Smashdown’ is for splashing speed demons where top speeds of up to 70km/h can be reached, dropping down from heights eight‐storeys high. For a different challenge, the ‘Race Track’ is a twin body slide racetrack featuring two identical slides where racers strive to be the fastest after a 10-second drop.

And to regain breath and ease out the tension, other laid-back slides and pools provide the perfect
combinations. ‘Macaroni’ is a ride rather than a slide that enables you to zoom through enclosed pipelines, or opt for the ‘Jungle Ride’ and the ‘Raft River’ for a more enjoyable ride. The ‘Lazy River’ is 'Waterbom' Bali’s ultimate feature for a slow-paced relaxation ride through cascading waterfalls and lush foliage. 'Waterbom' Bali features numerous choices of dining outlets. There’s also a swim-up bar that serves tropical drinks. Out of the pool, various canteens and open-air restaurants offer international and Indonesian snacks and cuisine.

Mint Bar Seminyak, Kuta - Bali

Mint has been designed as an ultra-chic destination, great food, cocktails, and club lounge a fresh approach to an evening of endulgence; hence the venue's name "Mint". The interior features rich materials, including dark timber, marble floors, unique back - lit glass bar top, stunningly beautiful sexy sofas and private lounging areas all amazingly lit for intimitacy and effect. Mint boats over 25 meters of bar top arranged as the center focus of the venue with a cocktail menu to satisfy the most decerning. Their DJ booth with its bar/stagelike structure produces audible pleasures that progress throughout the evening with electronic house and pop energy sounds as the evening awakens into a new day in this island of the God's they call Bali.

Mint is just across the road from bike and other notable grazing spots share the Petitenget route nearby, making it an easy stroll to head of to after late dinners in the area. Being set of the main crowded "eat street" of Jalan Kayu Aya also has its benefits, as Mint is one among a handful of venues out of the usual gridlock. to offer late night gigs that go on well in to the mornings. Parking is an issue here, so taxi rides are the way to go. Almost nothing happens early here; despite its "happy new friday" program that goes on between 16:30 - 19:00 local time, the real crowds only appear somewhere near midnight. Its DJ booth with a bar and stage like arrangement produces audible pleasures that progress throughout the evening with nice beats and electronic house as the evening tuns in to a new day. Loyal regulars tend to comprise of young adults but highlighted agendas usually draw a dynamic mix.

Step inside and you will find a large room dominated by bright fresh green, obviously the sole idea behind its
name. A chandelier and shiny emerald drapery hangs from the ceiling above the 25 m length of the centerpiece, back lit-glass bar top, and tall sexy green sofas line the corners of the room. Some small square tables are set up for dinners as Mint also offers quite an extensive menu for those who wish to dine here earlier before the crowds arrive. Its drinks list from its wine shop is also broad with a good selection of wines, classic and house cocktails and mocktails. For something different, try one of Mint's favorites, such as around Bali or the Apple Mint Martini with apple vodka, mint leaves, cointreau, fresh lime juice, and a dash of apple syrup. Or tryout the green samurai of pandan which combines vodka, Kwai Feh Lychee Liqueur, homemade pandan syrup and a splash of fresh lime juice.
