HOW TO GET TO TIRTA GANGGA WATER PALACE
Located out East, Tirta Gangga is around 2 hours from Ubud and 2 and a half hours from Canggu.
Many people heading to East Bali choose to stay in the small beach town of Amed, which is around 30 minutes from the Bali Water Palace – Tirta Gangga.
We recommend renting a scooter to get around Bali. You can hire them for around 50,000 IDR per day, and it’s the cheapest and easiest way to travel.
Although if you’re not comfortable driving on two wheels then drivers are available to hire all over the island for around 500,000 IDR per day (8 hours).

TIRTA GANGGA ENTRANCE FEE

WHAT TO EXPECT AT TIRTA GANGGA WATER PALACE BALI
Another spot made even more popular by social media, Tirta Gangga Water Palace Bali has always been a tourist destination to those visiting the island.

The name Tirta Gangga literally means ‘water from the Ganges’. Hence Tirta Gangga Water Palace Bali is a maze of pools and fountains. Surrounded by beautifully kept gardens and many stone carvings and statues.

We arrived around midday and although the weather was scorching the crowds weren’t too bad. It’s not a huge complex and you won’t want to spend hours there but it is a nice spot to take a walk and cool off in the local pool if you fancy it.

Here, we can find the kids jump in and playing around as parents watched on from the Warung style cafe on site. And also, the famous stepping stones that lead around the centerpiece – an 11 tier fountain. You can feed the fish in the area and capture a memorable photo at Tirta Gangga Water Park to end your visit.
