Rumah Saudara -A Creative Mobile Bar

Creativity and innovation are the keys to success. Four energetic young men who decided to open a mobile bar serving assortments of delicious snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages have certainly applied those two important factors and have reaped the benefit .

The four young men run their mobile bar, Rumah Saudara (House of Brotherhood), out of an old Volkswagen (VW) modified into a mini bar.

They opened the mobile bar in a parking lot of supermarket Nirmala in Jimbaran, South Bali.

The car is decorated with colorful pictures of the menu items. Rumah Saudara employs five well-trained and friendly waiters to serve the various dishes, snacks and quality alcoholic beverages, which can rival those served at five-star hotels and opulent cafes.

Targeting young customers with a sound system playing hip beats and glittery decor, Rumah Saudara is a perfect place to hang out at night.

As a mobile bar, Rumah Saudara never has a fixed location. They move to new locations every week and customers can find out where through our social media networks — Twitter, Facebook and Blackberry Messenger [BBM]

The idea popped up when they gathered with friends. They  started searching the Internet for a range of possible business opportunities that suited our personalities and interests. The idea to open a mobile bar was to reach out to young customers in every corner of Bali

With two professional chefs, one bartender and two waiters, Rumah Saudara offers a wide selection of food such as sushi sandwiches at a cost of only Rp 20,000, hot dogs for Rp 25,000 and pizza for Rp 40,000.

Goa Gong Temple | The Unique Temple in Jimbaran

Turn right at the traffic light bypass towards Nusa Dua, you are entering Udayana University Campus. After a while down the winding road, turn left will bring you to Pura Goa Gong or Goa Gong Temple . Follow along the road and on sharp bends and steep climb, just at the left side you can find Pura Goa Gong. Faced Pura Goa Gong, exactly across the street, is the way to another temple named Pura Peteng or Night Temple. Pura Goa Gong is located in the Banjar Batu Mongkong, Jimbaran Village, Kuta District, Badung Regency.

Before climbing the stairs to Pura Peteng, you are greeted by two dragon statues on the left and right. Dragons are representation of the two dragons, red and yellow dragon, who are the king and queen wong samar or unvisible humans. The dragons were returned to their native 'pralina' by Dang Hyang Nirarta on his way to Pura Goa Gong a few centuries ago. You can feel that there is a magical atmosphere when you enter this place.

Author has a little discussion with Pemangku in the Pura Goa Gong. It is said that in addition to Pura Goa Gong shrine to worship the Hyang Widhi and his manifestation as usual, there is also a place of worship to the Goddess Kwan Im. In addition there is worhip place 'pengayatan' to Mecca. At the bottom sides there is a 'pengayatan' to Betara Varuna, the authority of the ocean.

According Ghanta Yoga faint sound of gamelan or gong usually heard on a ceremony day  that will be held twice a year on Senin Pon wuku Shinta according to Balinese calendar., but not every ceremony or piodalan this gong sound. Gong's voice was filled with signs of supernatural and mystery. The sound is derived from a large rock turned out to be a sound that is very smooth, and the sound can be heard until five square kilometers radius. That’s why this temple called Goa Gong which Goa means cave and Gong means gamelan.

Sebatu  Holy Water and Purification Temple is located in Banjar Sebatu, Desa Sebatu, Kecamatan Tegallalang , Kabupaten Gianyar. About 40 Km from Denpasar City by car.

The beautiful and attractive Sebatu Temple is a unique place can become your spiritual tourist destination. Armed with beautiful and natural scenery as well as crystal clear water, you will perceive truly magical atmosphere upon entering the temple courtyard. As the story by word of mouth, the Sebatu Temple is very sacred and magical. It has begun to be opened to general public some time ago. To reach the temple area, visitors have to step down some concrete stairs because the temple is perched right on a river bank.

Sebatu Temple is one of the holy spring water temple in Bali, was built in homage to the God of preserver (Wisnu), who rules over water and here one finds a number of natural spring and waterspouts. The Balinese believe that water is one of the forces of life. The etymology of Gunung Kawi means a fabricated mountain. It lies west of Sebatu village, which is elovated and its name means slipping on a stone.

Procedures of the purification rite are first preceded with offering the banten pejati in the shrine and invoke for God’s blessing. Then, say prayers by using the kwangen oblation. Having got holy water, the kwangen is brought down to location of the purification rite. Afterward, put it between the eyebrows, and after sprinkled with holy water the kwangen is removed.

Purification rite at the location was not only performed by Hindu community in Bali, but also by people from Kalimantan, Sumatra and Java. Even, many non-Hindu communities and foreign tourists also came here. 

Only paying a small fee, you can enter to the Sebatu holy water. But attention for a woman who has a menstruation, please do not enter because of to keep the temple's purity.  For more information, please check Bali Star Island.

Weak up in the morning  at Badung regency, exactly at Simpang siur area. We found nice place for taking picture, with Dewa ruci Statue. Dew Ruci Statue located at intersection of By pass Ngurah rai and Sunset Road. this statue are inform about the fighting between Bima with a dragon to find the holy water, the holy water at keeper by dragon. Dewa Ruci Statue are made with artist from Bali he is I Wayan Winten. he start learn make a statue with concrete material because he know the wood material day by day will hard to find. 

Almost 30 minutes to enjoy this road with morning situation and there is no traffic jam in the morning, it's will be complete with the weather and the light decoration along this street. At this time the air condition in this road also nice air condition because there is no a lot of vehicle.  We enjoy the panorama, because it more prefect with mouth in the background of dewa ruci statue

The story of dewa ruci statue is easy to find at public information, for example this story are told about Bima find holy water but he must fight with a dragon. That i sthe simple story. at this time i meet with my friend, and he want to show the under pass at Dewa Ruci area, we just can enjoying the underpass with vehicle because there is no place for hiker. The length of underpass is 435 meters. The underpass made because at Dewa Ruci area always come of traffic jam.
