The growing some of the tourist attractions in Nusa Penida was not accompanied by the awareness of the community to keep it clean. In fact, there many trashes were spilled by the visitor in the tourist destination of Nusa Penida. One of them is Angel’s Billabong Beach, were located in Bungan Mekar Village and Batu Kandik Village, Nusa Penida Island. The trash is cigarette butts, plastic bottles, and snack packs were scattered at the tourist attraction. It makes the scenery is not good to see.
Billabong is a word in English which means the end of a dead-end river, this usually happens when the river forked and one led to a dead end. This place is the end of the estuary of the river in Nusa Penida before reaching the open sea. Surface water is clear and calm, as well as overdrafts that form pools of extraordinary beauty will make it hard to resist the desire to swim in this pool. So this place is called by Angel’s Billabong because of the beautiful panorama of this beach.
The Head of Culture and Tourism Klungkung I Wayan Sujana revealed that the company through an integrated team has been to provide guidance to public figures in Nusa Penida ranging from society, the head of the village until providers of tourist accommodation on the garbage problem in various attractions in Nusa Penida. The Klungkung Government must make or put the dump and organize the stakeholder for keeping clean.
